At the recent RamsTrust AGM a new board of directors was elected. There is often confusion as to what the board of RamsTrust actually represents. The answer is simple - The purpose of the board is simply to ensure the smooth running of the Trust, initiate ideas and ensure they are acted upon. Some people mistakenly believe that the board of the Trust are seeking to be the representatives of the fans to the board of Derby County and even to actually be part of the board of the club.

I like my football on a Saturday, Roast beef on Sunday’s all right.
So wrote the Kinks in Autumn Almanac back in the late 60’s. Well times have changed. Football is open all hours and days and the Sunday roast is more often than not a curry!

The RamsTrust Annual General meeting takes place this Thursday at Pride Park. Last year’s AGM took place 2 days after the Premier League victory over Newcastle United, this year’s takes place with us still looking for the next league win.

Derby fans, as many are no doubt aware, are drawn from two camps – the ‘blind faithers’, for whom the glass is always half full going on brimming over, and the ‘wrist-slashers’ who reckon that, irrespective of the volume contained, the stem will break any second. There is seldom any overlap – wrists, once slashed, stay slashed.
