Rams new “Miscellany” book debuts at Trust’s AGM event!
Saturday, September 24 2011

RamsTrust members attending last week’s AGM & Football Forum event at Pride Park Stadium had first chance to see and buy a fascinating new book, full of Rams trivia, history, facts and stats.

Respected Rams journalists and writers Phil Matthews and Gareth Davis compiled the highly entertaining “Derby County Miscellany” book, which even the authors hadn’t seen until they arrived at our event

Steve Nicholson, chief football correspondent of the Derby Telegraph, joined Phil and Gareth at RamsTrust’s Q&A event, with much discussion focussing on prospects for the new-look Rams’ team as well as the story behind the Miscellany book.

It gives a real flavour of Derby County’s strange and wonderful history. You’ll have to buy it – at our special price of £8.99 – to check which Rams player hit four goals past Leeds twice in successive seasons, or which club has a statue of a former Rams player. It’s not Steve Bloomer, by the way.

Derby County’s Miscellany book is in hardback format and has 160 pages full of such stories, facts and figures – with plenty of historic images of club legends, key events and matches. It’s sure to provide much interest and discussion amongst the faithful legions of Rams fans near and far.

A limited number of copies signed by the authors are available – first come, first served, so order your copy online now here! It will also be available on RamsTrust’s stall at Derbyshire Day, BBC Radio Derby’s annual celebration event, which takes place in the grounds of Sudbury Hall on Sunday September 25th (11am – 4pm).
