AGM 2025
RamsTrust AGM – Thursday 11 September 7.30pm
RamsTrust Board role description – Board Member & Co-opted Board Member
The RamsTrust Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on 11th September 2025 at Pride Park and notices for the meeting will be coming out in August.
Ahead of this, we are inviting nominations from all full members of RamsTrust to stand for election to our Board. This year we have four vacancies for 3 years, four vacancies for 2 years and one vacancy for 1 year on the RamsTrust Board.
Several current Board members are standing down this year, some of whom are re-standing for election but we do need new members as well. We very much hope you will consider joining us to help lead the work of RamsTrust. We need people who can support the Trust to make a positive contribution to the future of Derby County Football Club, in good times as well as bad.
RamsTrust is committed to furthering the interests of Derby County fans and the general community of football supporters and our Board plays a leading role in this work. We offer full support and Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) training, a friendly group and many discussions about all things Derby County. There is an opportunity to get more involved with our representative work with the Supporters’ Charter Group and FSA but it is not compulsory. Our Board Member role description has full information.
We are making this early call for nominations to allow anyone thinking of standing plenty of time to discuss the role of Board member with our Election Management Group by getting in touch with us at election@ramstrust.org.uk. We can discuss aspects of the role by email or by arranging a telephone call with you.
Once you have decided to stand, please complete the nomination form below and return to election@ramstrust.org.uk before Wednesday 13th August 2025. All nominations will be verified on receipt. In the event of any query over the validity of the form, we will contact you.
An election will be held if there are more than nine nominations for the nine available positions. If an election is needed, further details of how this will take place will be sent to all applicants and members.
Any queries or complaints regarding the election process will be dealt with by our Election Management Group. We have again asked John Boyle as an independent person to chair the group on our behalf, along with RamsTrust member, Paul Sturges and Board member James Coyle.
