Board Profile – Hilary Leam

Day job: Director

Expertise: Strategy, communication

First Rams game: Blackburn Rovers Vs Derby County 2nd May 1983 – lost 2-0, it was pouring with rain but I was hooked. Went to see Derby vs Fulham on the last day of the season to see us scrape a controversial 1-0 win through a Bobby Davison goal and got a season ticket for the next season.

Favourite Rams match/memory: So many. One of my favourites was definitely seeing Paulo Wanchope score THE wonder goal against Manchester United. Then there was the 5-0 win over Forest with Bryson’s hat-trick, one of my favourite ever Rams players.

Favourite Rams player: Two – Bobby Davison and Igor Stimac. And Craig Bryson not far behind!

Joined RamsTrust Board: September 2022

Reason for joining the Board: When we were in administration, I felt very powerless and increasingly anxious about what was happening to our club.  I wanted to do something that I hoped would make a difference and became more active with the media during that time. When the opportunity came to join the Rams Trust board, I was keen to see how I could work on behalf of both our members and the wider supporter base to be a voice for fans and hopefully make a difference to the long-term stability of our club.
