RamsTrust members have voted Curtis Nelson as the inaugural winner of RamsTrust Player of the Season 2023-2024. Eiran Cashin was second in the vote, and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing was third.

Curtis’s performances at the heart of the defence have been consistently high since he joined Derby from Blackpool in June 2023, ensuring that the Rams have conceded a joint lowest 37 goals in League One so far this season, and keeping 20 clean sheets on the way. Curtis is one of only five players in League One to have started every league game in 2023-2024, and the only outfield player to have played in every minute of those games.
