Join us at the RamsTrust 2026 Annual General Meeting
Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is your chance to help shape the future of RamsTrust and Derby County Football Club.
With that, we’re pleased to confirm that the RamsTrust 2026 AGM will take place on Thursday 24 September (7:30pm).
As was the case last year, the meeting will be held at Harrison’s Hub, on the corner of Pride Park Stadium, and will be both an in-person and online event, so you can take part in whichever way suits you best. Formal notices for the meeting will be issued in August.
There’s plenty to look forward to on the night. Alongside the formal business of the meeting, we’re delighted to share that Life After The Rams, the podcast hosted by Colin Gibson, will be recording a live interview with a former Rams legend. We’ll reveal who in due course, but rest assured it’s one you won’t want to miss.
And if you’d like to join RamsTrust ahead of the meeting, you can become a member for just £2. Attendance for RamsTrust members remains free as part of your membership package. Details of how to join can be found here.
Nominations are open to join the RamsTrust Board
The following letter was issued to members directly ahead of the 2026 AGM…
We are inviting nominations from all full members of RamsTrust to stand for election to our Board. This year we have four vacancies for three years and two vacancies for one year on the RamsTrust Board.
Several current Board members are standing down this year, some of whom are standing for re-election, but we do need new members as well. We very much hope you will consider joining us to help lead the work of RamsTrust. We need people who can support the Trust to make a positive contribution to the future of Derby County Football Club, in good times as well as bad.
RamsTrust is committed to furthering the interests of Derby County fans and the general community of football supporters and our Board plays a leading role in this work. We offer full support and Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) training, a friendly group and many discussions about all things Derby County.
There is an opportunity to get more involved with our representative work with the Supporters’ Charter Group and FSA but it is not compulsory. Our Board Member role description has full information.
We are making this early call for nominations to allow anyone thinking of standing plenty of time to discuss the role of Board member with our Election Management Group by getting in touch with us at election@ramstrust.org.uk. We can discuss aspects of the role by email or by arranging a telephone call with you.
Once you have decided to stand, please complete the attached form and return to the same email address election@ramstrust.org.uk before Wednesday 19th August 2026. All nominations will be verified on receipt. In the event of any query over the validity of the form, we will contact you.
An election will be held if there are more than six nominations for the six available positions. If an election is needed, further details of how this will take place will be sent to all candidates and members.
Any queries or complaints regarding the election process will be dealt with by our Election Management Group. We have again asked John Boyle as an independent person to Chair on our behalf along with RamsTrust member, Paul Sturges, and Society Secretary Angie Kerry.
Thank you again for your continued support and we hope you will consider joining the RamsTrust Board.
